The Bright5 is a perfect glider for novice pilots beginning their flying experience.

Our development team based the design of the Bright5 on the concept of flying pleasure. With easy inflation characteristics, beautiful handling, and fantastic passive safety the Bright5 is a great glider to learn to fly with.

DESIRE TO FLY

FLY ZEN

The Bright5 is part of the small group of gliders which exist that allow us to limit and eliminate pilot errors and imprecisions, with large brake travel, and excellent general balance on every axes. However the Bright5 stands out from other wings in the same class because of a confirmed superiority in what concerns pitch thus making it even more interesting in several areas of pilot progression.

SOARING

Banking the Bright5 is efficient and intuitive, and that handling characteristic makes it a great glider for soaring. It is also a fun glider to ground handle, whether that is for hours of inflation training or to have fun while easily top landing. On top of that its behavior at low speeds is safe and predictable, with a notable ‘hard spot’ before reaching stall speed allowing us to avoid over-piloting at low altitude.

HIKE AND FLY

The Bright5 has takeoff characteristics which are ideal for the mountains. The glider lifts regularly and once overhead has no notable tendency to overfly the pilot, giving us plenty of time to control its inflation before accelerating to takeoff.

CROSS COUNTRY

The Bright5’s excellent handling allows it to climb effortlessly at the same speed as other glider categories to the top of thermals, making it an excellent glider adapted for beginning cross country flying. It is very solid and stable in flight, yet with a communicative tendency allowing us to quickly understand the surrounding air mass.

FREESTYLE

Basic maneuvers like wing-overs, SAT’s or even helicopters are possible with the Bright5.  It belongs to a group of gliders with which one might imagine perfectioning the basic skills of Freestyle.  The length of the brake travel allows the glider to compensate for minor pilot error, all the while maintaining a high level of precision.

ACRO

This glider was not designed with acro in mind.

COMPETITION

The Bright5 was not designed with cross country competition in mind, however it has been often used in precision landing competitions where its low and stall speed behavior is highly appreciated.
